Crowns before and afterPorcelain Veneers and Cosmetic Crowns

Veneers are thin, durable, tooth-colored “shells.” Once they are customized for you, we then bond them onto the front of your tooth. Veneers may be ideal if your teeth are healthy, but stained, gapped, crooked, or chipped. They look natural and beautiful for an immediate improvement in the appearance of your smiles. In order to achieve the most ideal smile, we sometimes need to make custom stone models of your teeth so that a “mock-up” can be made to make sure we achieve the smile of your dreams. Porcelain veneers and cosmetic crowns can make teeth look:

  • Straighter
  • More even
  • Whiter
  • Intact

Composite Bonding Before and AfterComposite “White” Fillings

Harmful bacteria on teeth can lead to decay and untreated decay can lead to further complications, such as pain or infection. Composite fillings are a safe, effective solution to help preserve your teeth. We gently remove decayed cavity regions within teeth and place an aesthetic, tooth-colored composite resin filling to help prevent further damage to the tooth.

Bonding

Dental bonding achieves a similar result as veneers, but the bonding matches the teeth on the day of the procedure; the surrounding teeth can stain with time and replacement of bonding is needed. Bonding is a less permanent way to fix cosmetic deficiencies in teeth, usually lasting about 3-5 years, but is a quick one-visit solution that works well with a tighter budget.

Teeth Whitening

Even healthy teeth discolor over time. Teeth can darken as a result of diet and habits such as tobacco use. Some people are born with darkened teeth due to genetic tooth development or antibiotic use during tooth development. The color of our teeth is determined by the inner layer of our tooth, the dentin. As we age, our enamel layer thins and our teeth appear darker.

Whitening is a technique used to lighten the color of dull or stained teeth. We offer an in-office and take-home whitening technique.  We will be happy to recommend a tooth whitening option that will best help you achieve your desired results.
